Cruise the Inside Passage to Alaska from Vancouver : These images were taken during a visit to Vancouver and a 7 day inside passage cruise to Alaska in August 2012. The cruise was on the MS Volendam of Holland America and visited Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan as well as Glacier Bay for up close visits to several glaciers. A great cruise smooth sailing, good food and service on the boat. The images are being loaded in relative order that they were taken as the ship traversed along the inside passage , visited the 3 cities of Alaska and Glacier Bay and returned to Vancouver. Included with the scenic coastline and rain forest images you will find some of Alaska's incredibly varied wildlife including Humpback Whales, Orca (Killer) Whales, Sea Lions, Bald Eagles and Grizzly (Alaskan Brown) Bear

New Nikon D800 Images : These are some images from the just released Nikon D800 DSLR picked up March 21st 2012 in Ottawa Canada. Will post more samples as I have them over the coming days. Questions or comments can be directed through this site or request my email address if you don't want to post for all. This is my first FF Nikon having well used my D80, D90 and D7000 DX cameras over the last 7 years. These are just jpegs that have been cropped and tweaked a bit for levels sharpening etc. Multiple lenses uses Nikkor G 24-120vr, Nikkor 70-300VR Sigma 150-500 Rick Sellick

Your Bio

Welcome to my personel photography site. I have been doing photography for 40 years. I am an avid fan of digital photography and have been using Nikon digital cameras of different levels since 2001. My current setup Includes Nikon D800 and D7000 SLR's with a variety of Nikkor 24-120F4VR, 16-85VR,70-300VR, Tamron 90mm Macro & Sigma 150-500 OS, Lenses. I have a lot of subject interests which I hope to create new representative galleries as time goes by. Some of my interests include Birds, Nature, Street, sports, & event photography I continue to learn Photoshop Elements 9 and augment that with Nik Color Effects Pro, Portrait Professional the Topaz Suite for Noise reduction, sharpening & adjusting images.
